UN Deployment
The Royal Bhutan Police will be sending 4th batch of officers for United Nations Peacekeeping Missions. The total of 21 officers ranging from the ranks of Captain to Lieutenant Colonel which includes three female officers and one Non Commissioned Officer will be leaving the country on 18 June 2016 to United Nations Mission in Darfur, Sudan, Africa for a period of one year. They will be assigned with various peacekeeping responsibilities based on experiences and qualification.

The first batch of officers for UN peacekeeping Mission was sent in the year 2014 upon the instruction of the Royal Government of Bhutan. Including the present batch, there are 28 RBP officers including five female officers and two NCOs deployed for UN Peacekeeping Missions in Liberia and Sudan.
