    Refer our vacancy announcement for Officers Cadet dated 07/10/2016 page no 8 of Kuensel and BBS announcement dated 07-09 October, 2016 regarding eligibility of BCSE select/pass of PGDPA category only.

    However, in view of equal opportunity and open competition, Royal Bhutan Police would like to rectify all interested candidates who have appeared for BCSE-2016 may register with the Human Resource Division, RBP HQs.     Vacancy for Cadet Officers
    The Royal Bhutan Police is pleased to announce the availability of six vacancies (04 Male + 02 female) for the Cadet Officers. The applicant should fulfill the following requirements:
    a) BCSE select /pass (PGDPA category)- 2016 Batch only.
    b) Natonality : Bhutan
    c) Age : 19-25 years of age on the last date of registraton.
    d) Marital status : Unmarried
    e) Educatonal qualifcaton : It is mandatory that the candidate should have passed minimum of 10+2+3 (Bachelor’s degree)
    f) Physical ftness : Should be physically ft and free from any disability.
    g) Height : 5’6” for male and 5’4” for female.
    h) Documents Required: 1. A copy of Citzenship ID Card. 2. A copy of valid Security Clearance Certfcate. 3. The selecton shall be based on the order of merit of BCSE Result-2016 upon clearance of criteria fulfillment check, physically and medical examination.

    TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENT FOR PUBLIC SAFETY & SECURITY:
    This is to inform the general public that as part of public safety and security measures, the following traffic arrangements shall be implemented for the 60th Birth Anniversary Celebration of 4th Druk Gyalpo. 1. On 9th, 10th and 11th November, 2015, Norzin Lam shall be closed for all types of vehicles. 2. On 11th November, 2015, Chang Lam shall be closed from 0600hours to 1500 hours for all types of vehicle. Public wishing to witness the program at Changlimithang are requested to park their vehicles in following designated parking on 11th November and avail the shuttle bus service which shall be available from 0600 hours onwards. 1. Motithang School/Changangkha Parking (West) Public of this area to park their vehicles in Motithang Higher Secondary School parking or Changangkha Parking and avail free shuttle bus services provided from the school ground to city bus stand at Changlam. 2 Gyelyong Tshongkhang Parking (North) Public of Dechencholing/Taba and Langjophakha area to park their vehicles in Ministry of Foreign Affairs parking and avail free shuttle bus services till city bus stand. 3. Truck Parking (South) Public of South Thimphu to park their vehicles in the truck parking and avail free shuttle bus services till the Clock Tower Square. 4. YHSS/Lungtenzampa Parking (East) Public of Lungtenphu and Simtokha area to park their vehicles in YHSS and Lungtenzampa MSS parking and proceed on foot. 5. In view of parking shortages at Changlimithang, all participants and invitees are requested to use pool cars. RSTA/Traffic Police would like to request all the road users to strictly follow the Traffic Rules.


    SECURITY CONCERNS AND LIKELY RISKS OF FIRE HAZARDS
    This is to notify the general public that in view of security concerns and likely risks of fire hazards, all concerned are requested to refrain from selling and using fire crackers in the country. To this effect, the Royal Bhutan Police shall maintain strict vigilance and anyone found indulging in the sale or use of fire crackers shall be liable for disruption of public peace and security.

    The Royal Bhutan Police and the Organizers would like to request for the kind support and cooperation of all the people in the successful conduct of the following three matches of Asian Football Confederation Cup to be held at Changlimithang Stadium on 11, 13 and 15 August 2015.
    Therefore, we request all the football lovers to behave well with appropriate courtesy during the entire games and thereby observe the following:
    a) Treat the outside team and visitors as guest of our country.
    b) Respect the sentiments of the team and visitors.
    c) Not to throw objects into the football field during the play.
    d) Not to indulge in jeering, booing and mocking at players and officials.
    e) Not use any derogatory words towards the players or the fans.
    f) Not to be disrespectful to the outside team’s flags/banners.
    g) Not to abuse or shout at the referee or the games officials at any time.
    h) To remain seated at one place so that you do not distract other spectators.
    i) Not indulge in hooliganism.
    j) Do not pass any racial and derogatory remarks.
    k) Do not make any comments with Bhutanese slangs that can hurt feelings.
    l) Do not make instigative remarks that would rouse arguments and fights.
    m) Refrain from making obscene gestures.
    n) Refrain from climbing walls and fences to gain illegal entry.
    Further, the public are also requested not to bring knives, batons or sticks, water and juice bottles with caps intact and solid rounded fruits like apples or oranges. For kind information, the stadium is connected with CCTVs and any violations of the above will result in the intervention by the police and may be charged for criminal acts.


    PUBLIC APPEAL NO.2
    The Traffic Division of the Royal Bhutan Police would like to inform the general public that on 11, 13 and 15 August 2015, Changlam Road shall remain closed to traffic movement from 1300 hours to 2030 hours in view of the upcoming Asian Football Confederation Cup at Changlimithang Stadium.
    The Changlimithang Parking ‘B’ and Lungtenzampa MS School Parking has been identified as general parking area for vehicles of spectators coming to witness the matches.
    Further, the City Buses plying to the North shall operate from the ‘Bus Pick and Drop Point’ below Jigme Lossel LS School and the City Bus plying to the South shall operate from the ‘Bus Pick and Drop Point’ below the Lungtenzampa Bridge on those three days.
    According, the general public is requested to note the changes and inconvenience caused is regretted.
