35th Batch of Officers commissioned into the Royal Bhutan Police
On December 23/12/2015, five cadet officers (comprising 3 males and 2 females) who completed their 18 months of Basic Police Training at the Police Training College at Tashigatshel were commissioned to the rank of Lieutenant by Colonel Chimi Dorji, the Additional Chief of Police.

The Additional Chief of Police stated that given their comprehensive training, he is confident that they would now use the theoretical subjects to experience the practical side of policing and serve the organization with high degree of professionalism.

They were also briefed that the officers must serve the Tsa-Wa-Sum with utmost dedication and loyalty.

During the training period, the officers were taught indoor subjects like forensic science and medicine, investigation, laws and other acts, police administration etc along with rigorous outdoor trainings that included drill, weapon and physical training.
