49th Police Raising Day Celebrations
The Royal Bhutan Police Celebrate its 49th Raising Day on 1st September 2014 throughout the country.

The Chief of Police during the celebration inform the guests and the RBP family on Theme for the year 2014 that include 1. Introduction of PYPP club in Higher and Middle Secondary Schools, 2. Raising number of active FOP member to 2500 by 01 September 2015, 3. Conversion of the existing 11 Ops to CPCs , 4. Fulfill the targets in the GPMS in the next one year and 5. Crime reduction competition amongst the field Divisions.

The Chief of Police during his speech offer his profound gratitude to the beloved Kings for their constant guidance, wisdom and magnanimous benevolence in guiding the organization in the right direction.

The program in Thimphu included awarding of Trophy to Winning Divisions on overall performance and Crime reduction whereby Division – XII, Wangdue bagged the First Prize Trophy with cash Prize amounting to Nu. 50,000. The Runner up Trophy with Cash Prize of Nu. 30,000 was bagged by Division – XIII, Bumthang whereas the 3rd position was bagged by Division – III, Phuentsholing with cash prize of Nu.15,000.

Similarly RBP mementoes and Certificates were awarded to the donor agencies , stakeholders and Friends of Police members in appreciation of their unfailing services to the Royal Bhutan Police during important national events and celebrations.
