The Chief of Police awarded certificates to 62 trainees consisting of spouses and children of Armed Forces personnel who successfully completed vocational skills training conducted at Project HOPE centre, Royal Bhutan Police Headquarters in Thimphu.
Various skills trainings certified by the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources in spa & beauty, salon, cooking, baking, tailoring and repair of home appliances were conducted.
A total of 131 spouses and children of RBP and 36 spouses and children of RBG and RBA were trained so far by the centre.
Project HOPE was initiated by His Majesty The King and works for the welfare of the armed force personnel and their families mainly in the area of skills enhancement through training of the armed force spouses.
