According to the hotel proprietor, on 5 September around 1730 hours, a man came to book the room and used his name as Tenzin from Wangduephodrang. The hotel staffs had not bothered to check the room till the evening of the next day. Upon opening the door of the room with a spare key, the investigating team found the body of an unknown person lying dead with stab wounds at five different places. The dead person could not be indentified either by the staffs or the proprietor and they stated that it was not the same person who had checked into the room on 5 September 2010.
