Seeking for Police Assistance
The Police are available 24 hours round the clock ready at the service of the people for your safety and security. You can contact us at toll free emergency hotline dial '113' for any emergency police service. For the timely and effective police service delivery, we shall be available immediately when:
1. a crime is in progress;
2. someone suspected of committing a crime is close by, or you know where the person is;
3. a further crime might be committed;
4. someone has been seriously injured or is in danger.
Our Targets
  • Our aim is to answer your dial '113' calls within 10 seconds. We expect to meet that standard at least 90% of the time.
  • For urgent incidents, our aim is to get an officer to you within 15 minutes. We expect to meet that standard at least 87% of the time.
  • For non-urgent incidents, our aim is to get an officer to you within 30 minutes. We expect to meet that standard at least 90% of the time.
  • We aim to respond to letters/emails from the public within 5 working days at least 90% of the time.
  • We aim to update victims of crime on the preliminary status of cases within 7 days at least 90% of the time.
  • We aim to attend to customers at police service counters within 15 minutes at least 75% of the time.
