The Road safety and Transport Authority handed over Traffic Safety Equipments worth Nu. 0.7 million to Royal Bhutan Police.
On 9th August 2017, the Road safety and Transport Authority (RSTA) represented by the Director General (DG) and his staff presented the Royal Bhutan Police with traffic safety equipments worth Nu. 0.7 million as a support to strengthen the professional capacity of the traffic police personnel while executing their work.

The DG acknowledged the relentless amount of hard work put in by the traffic police in ensuring the safety & security of the motorist as well as the pedestrians. He also conveyed the firm commitment and support of the Secretary of Ministry of Information & Communication (MoIC) towards strengthening the capacity of RBP traffic personnel in the field.

Receiving the equipments such as breath analyzer with inbuilt printer, quick alcohol testing machine, speed gun and other accessories, the Chief of Police thanked the DG and his staff for the support and assured that the work of the traffic personnel in the field will be made much easier with the use of the equipments. The Chief also expressed his gratitude to the Secretary, MoIC for the esteemed support.
