On 26 May 2014, the Royal Bhutan Police kick started the 4th phase of Police and Out of School Youth Partnership Program at Thimphu, Wangdue Phodrang and Phuntsholing. The program is an initiative of the RBP to build positive and productive partnership with the youths who are out of school and are also unemployed.
About 50 youths from three most populated urban centres in the country namely Thimphu, Wangdue and Phuntsholing participate in the 15 days program funded by UNICEF. The participants will be familiarized and sensitized on various themes including Youth and the Law, legal provisions and consequences, Child Rights and Conventions (CRC), Crime Prevention, Youth and Drugs, youth and POSYPP including general guidance towards becoming responsible and law abiding citizens of the nation.
